Installed Buschur upper IC pipe now car takes a dump. Help
Ok, I just pulled down the bumper again and got my hands dirty.
I installed the upper IC pipe which required a little tweaking of the engine bay with the current intake I have.
I had to once again relocate the boost solenoid to a different location. Anyway's. Does anyone have any experience with the buschur lower and upper IC pipes after installing it? The Lower pipe was working fine since I had that in first since a couple weeks ago. Now, I put in the upper and I am getting all kinds of unusual things not normal to what it was running before. I was running appx (800c) EGTs before I did the upper IC pipe. Now, I hit around 840c which would make sence b/c I am putting in more air. However, between shifts, there is a hesitation now. And it feels like a lost some power. Also I think my oil pressure went down under a heavy load to. Does anyone know what the normal pressure for the oil should be under WOT in BAR? Also, does the stock boost solenoid need to be postioned in a certain way for it to work properly or does it not really matter. I know when I had my HKS VPC, I had to make sure the solenoid was installed higher than the throttle body or something like that.
PLease help. I thought that maybe it should be retuned 1st but I dont think freeing up some air is goimg to cause me to lose performance.
