Wrapping the downpipe HELP

I just wrapped my RMR downpipe with DEI wrap.

Anyways I made two mistakes. First of all I sprayed it with my garden hose and a lot of brown sand (composite fiberglass I think) sprayed off the wrap. Second I wrapped it with a 1/2 overlap instead of 1/4. From DEI website [More is not always better when it comes to exhaust wrap. You can hold to much heat in the manifold the point of changing the molecular structure of the metal. This can cause premature wear of the tubes or fractured welds, ¼” is fine…this allows just enough heat out to ensure performance without hurting the exhaust.]

I think since the turbo and o2 housing are such good heatsinks + I washed out some of the heat retention material my downpipe will be fine.

I'm wondering if you guys think I will have any problems? BTW I also silicone sprayed it.

Thanks - MArk
