Tight Model Evo - Short Shifter

I just installed a short shifter but it is much harder to shift gears than the stock. Does anyone else have the same effect? I just bought the perfect model car too. I am almost complete to making my car look like this:

I will post pics when I am done.

By the very nature of a short throw shifter, it will take more energy to move the lever into gear. Now, it shouldn't be horrible. I have mine set on 45% throw reduction, and the only gear that was difficult at first was 5th. Now, 5th gear is fine, although I might have just gotten used to it.

How long has the shifter been in? It usually takes a couple of weeks for it to smooth out.

I have it at 45 degrees. Thanks for the info. Hopefully it smooths out. Dont want to get arthiritis at an early age.
