Getting new clutch installed for under $60, what should i get??

Ok my 2003 evo has the clunk for 2ed to 3ed gear so the dealer is putting in a few new parts that are part of the shifting problem service buliton for that problem. They say its all new syncros for 1,2,3 and 5th gear. And a few other parts, anyways. The tech said that they can install a new clutch in there for me for $40-$60, as they will be right there anyways. I asked them about the warenty deal and they said it will only void warenty if it directly causes the problem. They mentioned a law where they canot say no to fixing the car. As you may see i have a great dealership. However my clutch has only 2,000miles on it and every once in a while if i punch it in 2ed it does feel as if it may be slipping just a tad. Anyways for the install price i cant pass it up. If i ever go high HP it will not be much over 300hp as i love the car the way it is. And i want to stay under $500 for a new clutch. I am looking at the ACT or the RRE (unpainted one) has anyone ride in a car with both to give me and idea of where i should put my money. thanks in advanced for any help. Yeah i know there are threads on both clutches but i could not find a comparison, thanks again

if they find any blue on your clutch plate.. they will try to voidyour warrenty... even though blueing comes from normal driving habits.. they say its from abusing the car..

good luck man... i had a very similar problem.. but it took 3 weeks to sort out, and the regianly manager was invovled.. I was also told BY THE REGIONAL MANAGER "if you install an aftermarket clutch, we CANNOT honor your drivetrain warranty". This is why i decided to put a new pos OEM clutch in, instead of an aftermarket one.
