i doubt your turbo died haha. unless you killed it???? probably a line that you didnt check. if you say the blow off valve is making weird noise check that. might not be sealing all the way or leaking boost somehow. i dont think ours is the same, but the WRX stock BOV uses some sort of silicon for lubricant. in the winter my friends stuck open all the time if the engine was cold and he made no boost. i guess what im trying to say is, check the BOV. maybe you need a new one.

If the BOV is making a wierd noise maybe you've got a blown-out BOV diaphram.

check to see if the clips are in the scoop on the air box that is cliped to the front core sopport. if one is missing it will lift up to the underside if the hood and not take in air. this happened to a friend evo and made low boost.

Did ya just installed you're Forge bov, is it a recir or vta bov? Which spring are you using? When I put my Forge recir. bov with the yellow spring it didn't hold past 12 to 15 psi. Once I switch in the blue spring, it held boost with no problem. (over 20 psi). Hope this help...

If the BOV is making wierd noises then thats the culprit. I have heard many wierd noises and my experience that whatever makes the noise is the problem. =)
