How often to change out fluids in differential, transfer case and transmission?
 

That is exactly the question. Also what would be the best fluids to use? Is there any other piece I am missing a fluid change on (obviously aside from the engine?)

i believe the tranny fluid is every 15,000 and the diff - transfer case is every 25,000
i may be wrong though.

In general it's every 15,000 miles.

If you are stock, go by the manual that came with your car. Make sure your dealer uses the fluids reccomended in the Manual. Some don't and they'll fuuuuuuuuck up your car.

If you are not stock, as Team Rip reccomends, change them all when you change the oil. {thumbup}

I'm a dork, but I do my driveline fluids every 5K.

so what fluid should i use for the trany? I heard Penzoil Synchromech is that what you guys recomend?

In general, you can use any fluid which meets the factory specs (in the owner's manual). Pennzoil Syncromesh works, Redline works (I think) and Diaqueen (OEM fluid) works. I'm assuming you're on the stock transmission, if you're on one from TRE or someone else, do whatever they say.

I'm at about 5k right now and thinking of changin them every 10K. Changing them ever 2.5k is crazy!

I'm at 5K just changed (trans oil - Motul Gear 300 API GL-4), (Tranf. Case oil - Red Line 100% synth. GL-5). I'll post at 7K give you feed back. I started autocross coupled of months ago. They feel good and everything is running smooth.

My transmission is still stock except for the clutch. Should I just stick with something like Redline? Where can I buy that stuff?

use penziol synchromesh for trany and oem for diffs.

Diaqueen for your rear diff and transfercase. and BG Syncroshift in the Tranny. I'm at 333WHP and I replace mine every 7500 miles...
