Gsc 264/274's are bigger injectors needed?
Hey guys will be getting these cams soon. I have a EvoVII with stock turbo:- I have tubalur mani, turbo back exhaust, intake, fuel pump, power fc and boost controller.
Will my stock injectors be okay to run these cams as I would rather get injectors the same time as the cams if needed. Thanks in advance. Paul  |
no need for injectors

It really depends on how much boost you want to run. Do you have anyway of checking your duty cycle? I would be willing to bet that your stock injectors are close to maxed right now (maxed meaning 90%+) at WOT.
I would get some monitoring tools/piggy back so you can get the crutial information about your engine status. |
not needed with stock turbo on pump gas.
|
Definitely not need on race or alky, my duty cycles are even lower on alky than on pump

I will be running pump gas and about 22 psi dropping to 29-21psi.

Anyone else.

Stock injectors are more than sufficient.

I'm running stock injectors on the GSC 272's.

Certainly can be done on the stock injectors. However, I was seeing 90%+ idc and lowing timing numbers near redline before I put in larger injectors. Now idc stays under 85% and I've got more timing than I know what to do with.
