oil catch can?
i have seen these on tons of evos but what exactly do they do? is it just a shiney thing to put under your hood for a little show or does it have any performance oriented benifits? thanks and sorry for the noob question.

Short answer:
Oil/blow-by escapes the valve cover through the PCV valve and breather connection. Oil in manifold = lower octane rating Oil in intake = oily intercooler= reduced cooling efficiency A catch can is like a trap for these oily solids/blow-by |
Can anyone recomend a good one?
