Car boosting slow, loss of power

I took the car our for a drive today and noticed the car was very sluggish. So I mashed the throttle and noticed I was not hitting full boost. I am tuned for 22psi and even by 7k rpms I had only hit around 14. I have no CEL's on and everything seems to be intact under the hood. If it matters, I have a Greddy EBC. TIA.

Found the issue, plus more on page 3.

Dude, the weather is so insane these days, it might be something to do with that... dunno. I am really enjoying the giant donuts in parking lots though, haha

I have never had this issue before, regardless of weather.

I'd guess boost leak, but you'd probably know better than me

33 degrees is far from being insane. If you would've told me that when it was -15, I might have agreed with you. Any other ideas?

kmcconn9 Feb 25, 2007 03:07 PM

boost leak is very probable

Evo442 Feb 25, 2007 03:09 PM

check all your hoses. I know several people (myself included) whose stock intercooler hoses split... I couln't develope much boost either...

The Emperor Feb 25, 2007 03:12 PM

check your BOV maybe

revvin9k Feb 25, 2007 05:09 PM

Just checked for boost leaks, none present. I was suggested that my WG could be stuck or need adjusting....possible cause?

Spikedlee Feb 25, 2007 05:27 PM

My car suffered the same issue a few days ago. Going in for a boost leak check tomorrow and hopefully that is the problem (crossing fingers).
