GT35R over GT37R
Ive been searching but cant find what im looking for. On a 2.0 Built motor running pump and meth how much slower does the GT37r spool compared to the GT35r?
Gonna throw a guess out there and say anywere from 500-1000.
Either way make sure you have a built head for the 37R because you're gonna be reving high |
it will be fully built head and all
if you're gonna daily drive I think the 35R would be the way to go.
notion taken. I do want to DD it but i also want that little more you know what i mean? also i plan for nitrous to spool when needed
I know one guy here in Vegas that is gonna do that setup on his 2L w/ 35r

300-400rpms.
I have the 37r on my car and its 700 rpms slower than the 35
so whens it start spooling? and when do you hit full boost? ^^^^
I would seriously consider a stroker or 2.4L
I drive a stock block, 272HKS cams Evo8 everyday with a GT37r turbo on a blowthrough setup. No problems whatsoever, I hit full boost @ 4500-5k. Not much in difference in spool of the 35r. Ill take the 37r anyday cause it makes a little more power. If you do a build, I would do a 2.0L or 2.1L, 37r is great on high revs.
