what's Evo's stock boost pressure....
 

Hey guys,

I added a boost gauge the other day, and was wondering what the stock pressure was. It's been a while and I forgot. The car is boosting to about 18/19 psi. I kinda thought stock was 17, but I think I'm wrong.

evo 8 = 18/19
evo 9 = 19.5

You've posted twice on this thread and haven't even told the guy what he wanted to know. I believe its around 19 psi.

Its 19 on the evo8 but my car was pushing only 16.5. When I got exhaust, it started pushing 19 instantly.

than why dont you just answer than mans question.

He shouldn't have to if the guy just searched; hell, can probably search wikipedia or google and find it faster than asking/searching on here. Oh yeah, your answer was wrong as Warrtalon said.

yeah, I could have searched, but I just wanted a lil feed back, current feed back, ya know a lil conversation. If you feel so insulted that I asked and didn't search, you really didn't have to answer at all. If it doesn't pertain to you, why give your negetivity?

Wow..i just got my evo 8 not too long ago..it came modded..with HKS exhaust, APS BOV, TT, and a boost gauge...im only pushing 13 or 14...mostly 12psi..

Any ideas why?

PS i tried searching for stock boost pressure but couldn't belive 19 or even 16 since my boost is so low

evo-9=20.16psi at 3500(WOT)
16.10psi at 6500(WOT)

19 lbs is stock on an evo....so all u lil girls can stop arguing
