553 whp, 93 octane, just another day at the office.
Just finished another build for Slorice, here on EVOm. Slorice (Tim) is a converted STi owner, I think when he drive his car we just finished he'll know for sure why he converted!!
Tim is another friend/customer and he just did the same build his friend Eric (spin2gst) did about a month ago. Eric's car is the highest pump gas EVO we ever built using the stock ported intake manifold and 65 mm throttle body. Well, just to keep things interesting between these two I left Tim short 1 HP from Eric's build!! hahaha This will make for some good conversations. Actually I didn't do it on purpose I stopped at the car "happy spot" and it just so happened that these two freaks were within 1 whp of each other. That alone is pretty freaking amazing. I am posting the dyno sheet with AFR's and Boost on them, which is unusual for me. I just want to put a little more information out there. The build on the car is: BR 2 liter with Crowers/JE BR Stage 3 head BF272 cams BR ported stock intake BR 65 mm throttle body BR double pumper FIC 1200 cc injectors BR inline boost controller BR Race FMIC BR 3" turbo back with MAGNAFLOW muffler BR tubular header turbo kit with HTA35r BR upper and lower i/c pipes, 2.5" Tial BOV BR lightweight battery kit BR COP ignition (yes, the one that works) AEM EMS Tilton twin carbon clutch Here is the dyno sheet for your viewing pleasure. BTW, the tune was done in 8 dyno pulls;) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...hur/timmay.jpg |

Unreal Mr. Buschur
I am truly amped up to be a proud owner of your famous stage 3 block. Now to get my head out to you guys for the top end treatment. All of these pump gas cars have me impatiently waiting for me to get my setup done with you as well Great work David {thumbup} :mitsu: |
I can't wait to come get it. Almost want to tell my boss I'm sick tomorrow!! :D
Thanks again to David, Daniel and all the guys at BR. I've had a pretty rough road over the last year or so with the STI. But I know my Evo is in good hands. :D |
im gonna have to get my car towed over there just to get tuned!!! BUSCHUR FTW!!!

i would definitely be calling in sick to pick that car up.. Nice work Dave!!

BR COP ignition (yes, the one that works)
what does that mean? was there a problem with yours or are you talking about some other ones that have been tested lately. i'm just curious because i just bought yours and i didn't think it ever had any issues. thanks and nice numbers. |
Nice, (cough, cough, hack, hack,,,) I feel that I'm coming down with something just from reading about SloRice's car. Tomorrow may just have to be a sick day....

Congrats Tim!
Amazing your Evo put down more power on pumpgas than your Sti ever did on race gas. Since were the same power wise I guess we will have to see who can get their car the lightest.:p Great work Boost Brothers!{thumbup} |
Just another fun filled day in Dave's World.

Cool stuff.
Will any Evo shop in the USA step up and create a pump gas car that can touch these Buschur cars? It's mind boggling domination. No shop in the USA is anywhere close. How can this be happening? I predict within 2 months max we will see a shop start putting out more competitive customer cars running 93. |

I'm sure it has something to do with a guy that tried out an M&W Pro 4 drag CDI box from M&W vs. the Pro 12 one BR uses. Awesome numbers for 93 octane. |
