i really think the twinscroll S300S/X turbos work great on evos. We can set these up as singlescroll T3s to fit most peoples T3 undivided setups, but the twinscroll T4 offers a much meatier powerband.

definitely a badass turbo for twin applications, just need to get a control setup on the Variable Turbine stepper motor... i can post up info on the variable setup if anyone is interested

its a very cool turbo, and the price on it is KILLER. It *might* fit with AC and a full length rad, but not sure.

If I ever grow tired of my 40R setup, this is the turbo I may upgrade too...

s200sx and 300sx look nice

SeanC Oct 14, 2009 05:17 PM

Ordered my S300sx last week :)

Good stuff.

l2r99gst Oct 14, 2009 06:25 PM

The S300sx looks like a great fit, from the compressor map at least. I would be curious as to how nicely it would spool. It would definitely be in the heart of the efficiency in high boost/RPM though on a 2.0L engine.

Well i have been telling Eric we wanted a BW turbo to test as we want to become full-race dealers.. How bout we work something out for this gem or a s30091-79 ;):beer::beer:

hmmm yummy ... new BW products

I'm torn between a TS S200SX or S300SX on my forged 2.0 :/

what's the difference in spool ?

and any new BW suitable Evo 8 products ? variable vane ? or new buzz words to counteract the HTA-ness of FP turbos ?

APM Racing Oct 15, 2009 09:11 AM

The S362 works really good makes power like a 35r plus some . We have also done a few S366 but is laggy

The S200 series seems a little strangely matched and advertised.

S200 (T3 twinscroll)
Compressor Inducer = 56mm
Compressor Exducer = 80mm
55 pounds/min rated flow (60% efficiency, 4.2:1 PR)
Turbine Inducer = 74mm
Turbine Exducer = 65mm
.76, .85 A/R T3 housings
1.08 compressor to turbine ratio

S200sx (T4 twinscroll)
Compressor Inducer = 56mm
Compressor Exducer = 76mm
55+ pounds/min rated flow (66% efficiency 3.2:1 PR)
*** Can probably do 58+ pounds/min at 60% and 4.2:1***
Turbine Inducer = 69.5mm
Turbine Exducer = 61mm
1.09 compressor to turbine ratio

The T3 has the larger turbine wheel, but tiny backhousings.
The T4 has large housings but smaller wheels.

How do the two perform against each other?

HEy geoff how accurate do you find their HP ratings??? still nothing w/ 360 degree Thrust???
