TakaseEVOIXSE Jan 10, 2011 11:11 AM

everything on paper for these new BW turbos looks like win to me... also, IN for results/testing! I like that supposed 1000hp capable 67ind/91exd billet EFR

OK, dont get perky... I bought 3 units because our local currency was stronger against the $ and I did not know what size I wanted. 2x 7670 and 1x 8370

I have a evo9 road car that I want to put the T4 TS 7670 as I had major problems with a known stock frame turbo... stuffed after 1400 miles or so and bull stories of over speeding...llalal... long story for another day and thread.

Then I have to say the following with a bullet proof vest. I am building a RX7 fd3s with a evo9 engine.... This is a full circuit track car and I need a reliable light weight car. Rotary engines are all but reliable and a evo is to heavy... no need to have 4wd if you have 295 rear slicks and 265 front slicks.

I agree on paper the units look strong, but when has the first iteration of a new line of turbos ever been without a lot of headaches?

I remember when (by word of mouth at least) Precision and Turbonetics both had tons of failures. It will be interesting to see how well the launch of this new series goes for BW.

X2...I am definitely looking forward to results also and if they are what I think they will be, I will be buying one once my car gets to the point of a built motor and I pull AC out, etc...

I'll be in for the results.

In fairness, I wouldn't put Precision or Turbonetics in the same sentence as Borg Warner when it comes to product development.

Garrett, yes.
MHI, yes.
