JE Pro seal gaskets for 4g64

Have anyone run this on their high horsepower 2.1L or 2.4LR setup.700whp & above for drag or track evo8.
I need afews feedback regarding the JE Pro Seal Gasket.
Pros & Cons feedback will be helpful.

I literally just installed this gasket. So far so good. Have not pushed it hard though. Still in the break in process. Im running the 86.5mm bore and is 1.3mm thick. I went thicker because wiseco sucks. Their chart is incorrect for the 64 pistons. They refer to the incorrect cylinder head chamber volume so my compression was at 10.6:1 (with the evo head spec). With the thicker gasket, it brings it to 9.8:1.

I did compare this gasket when I received it to the Cosworth and it was almost exactly the same. The only difference is the Cosworth has groves stamped in the gasket for o-rings.

anymore out ther willing to share knowledges?

Cos-worth have 2 different type gasket. on is the fsl & the other norm one.

I run the the non fsl cosworth gasket got some issues twice.

Has anyone tried using a 4g69 stock multi layer headgasket I bet that would be a good choice since it is for the bigger bore size 4g motors and is Oem. The stock multilayer 8&9 headgasket are awesome so why wouldn't the 4g69 if it also is multilayer

Well its holding up no problem. Lots of pulls and no leaks.

Any updates on how the Pro Seal gasket is holding up? I'm about to start a build, and was advised they are better than Cometic.

Anyone care to update this? Need recommendations for 2.4 700+whp..

Mine held 45+psi on an fp black and no issues.

2.4 standard bore. 6765. 35psi. 770awhp. Lasted me 4100miles untill coil in number 2 went out and damaged the head gasket. Ended up putting a SCE copper one with a built in SS oring.

2006GSR Aug 4, 2016 01:34 PM

SCE copper gasket has been holding up at 40-41 psi on my 2.4 with a 6765.

Oring the head (or block if you prefer), cometic gasket. Copper coat on the gasket, golden

what’s your power goal?

I wouldn’t waste your time on a MLS gasket or orings.

buy a SCE Athena cut ring gasket. I’ve ran a 2.1 alu rod on a 6870 up to 58 psi. 625+ studs.
