Look what CAMS I bought.

I've been wanting to install cams in my car for the longest time. I've considered both the HKS 272s and Tomei 260s. The Tomei cams comes with a higher lift but less duration. I hate making sacrifices. Anyway, while on vacation in Singapore, I went to the Tomei Distributor here and bought a set of tomei procams and cam gears. The specs are as follows:

280 degrees Duration
11.5mm Lift (EX/IN)

These cams are not available in the US. Can't wait to get it installed in my car. I'm assuming I need to get springs and retainers too.

And those are tomei's monster full out drag cams...I was considering 270 myself...good luck with the 280s.

Wow, 280 duration, that's going to add some lag. I hope you have a fully-built head.

Ya that is allot of duration. If you get a aftermarket turbo that will kill you on the overlap. But since you got the hookup im want to sell my HKS 272/272 cams and get some Tomei 260 with 11.5 if you can get them let me know and ill send the money.

Yeah, if your still there bring me a set too. Maybe 2k4evo and I can get a better deal for buying two sets...

Hi guys

I'm actually leaving tomorrow. Ths cams here were not cheap. I paid an equivilant of about $850 for both cams. The 260 cams r a little cheaper at about $680 for both IN and EX. The cam gears, i was told was just released. Blue and red. Thats cost about 350 a set. I don't know if i have time to swing by 2morrow. If I knew that AEBS sold these cams, I'll probably buy it over there.

I'm now thinking of buying a stage 3 head from Buschur. What do u guys think?

Well thanx anyway. I have found nothing for the Evo is cheap but for some reason i keep buying. I hate that addiction! Oh well if you get time i would appriciate it!
