problem with headlights

I just had mitsubishi change my passenger side headlight that burned out. Problem is it does not match my driver side headlight. (the new one is white and the old one is that beautifull blue) So I told the dealer and they said that they would fix the problem. The dealer ordered another two bulbs and changed both sides, they now match but they are not blue in the least bit. The dealer told me he cant do anything else for me and to call a 1800# for customer service. My question is if anybody has had a problem like this what did you do to correct it and is there a # that I can call to try and fix this because its killing me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks, Dan

color is due to the temp of the bulb.. no not temp like degrees but rather on a color scale... white simple is a lower color temp then the blue ones... it might be an updated bulb or a cheaper bulb... check the part numbers on the old ones and new ones

The part numbers are the same, the bulbs are exactly the same also I just dont know why they are not blue. They look like regular hallagens.

Factory bulbs run at 4750K (kelvin = heat measument). The higher the K the more Blue it is, I have seen them go as high as 10,000K

HID bulbs unlike halogen bulbs wil change color over time. That is why when they switched the one it looked diffrent. If you really wanted to you could just buy a higher temp. bulb and switch them. There only 100 or so for the pair. 6000K or so should give you the nice blue you want.
