is this a straight pipe exhaust?

Greddy Full Titanium Racing Cat-Back exhaust

- 80mm Full Titanium Racing exhaust
- 10lbs of weight
- the kit includes inner silencer for street use
price is $915

So does this exhaust have a cat? If money was no object would you get this exhaust?

It is a cat-back system.

Ergo, it bolts up after the downpipe and cat.

Yes, it is straight. Well, as straight as possible. The pic is not the same as the actual one for the evo. The actual midpipe is straight.

if you are wondering why there are two bends at the end it's to raise the clearance of the muffler as much as possible... where hks and other straight back exhausts have one big bend... the greddy runs two mild bends, as far as flo dynamics is concerned it is the same... the net angle is the same. well... sorta... assuming that they need to bend the same amount.

Just to clear up any questions...

Yes this is a straight thru exhaust after the factory cat. Your exhaust would be using the factory O2 housing, factory down-pipe (restrictive), factory cat, Greddy mid pipe, Greddy tail with straight thru muffler.

You would probably see more performance gains if you changed the downpipe of the cat (high flow or off-road pipe) or big gains if you change both.

If you are lookig for a good lookking exhaust tip with the ability to build off of down the road this is a nice system.
