hey...weighed my evo today at the local recycling center....3070 with half tank of gas....all interior is still there and a/c , stereo and stuff.
Lightened stuff:
no trunk stuff
aluminum tein RA suspension
lighter wheels and tires
titanium strut bar
airbag and stock steering wheel swapped for sparco
small battery
exhaust upgrade
carbon hood and trunk
no wing

PS> from what i saw specs with moonroof (and wing prolly too) was 2298 for the evo....thats including the 30lbs for moonroof .

Nice...A tad more weight reduction will get you under 3k

 

hollow rear sway bar, no front bumper beam once i install the gialla front bumper ..will get me close to 3040...so not bad with everything else still there
