POLL:What Year and type of EVO8 do you have?
I just rolled 20,000 miles on the EVO. I like to drive too much! I'll be driving my Honda mostly this winter to cut back on the miles on the EVO. It's tough... the Mitsu is fun to drive!

2004 Weightless White RS
Didn't have any idea I was going to get the car. I had an 02' Eclipse GT that I had done a bunch of mods to. One day, go to start it and the battery is dead. Tow to the dealer since it's still under warranty. While they're replacing the battery I walk through the showroom and in the middle of the floor is this detailed 04 RS that they had just taken to the auto show here in San Antonio.
The sticker said $28,900 so I asked one of the salesmen what was the best he could do. Talked and talked, two hours go by. On the contract the final number was:
Sales price: $25,000
Trade value on my car $8,700
$1,000 repeat customer rebate
I couldn't say no and I've been loving it ever since. Best purchase decision I've made in a LONG time!

Picked my MR last week - the break in seems to take forever, but I know my patience will have its reward. It is nice to drive a car that really feels solid! Six speed is also a nice touch, I prefer it to the 5 speed for certain.
