Anyone done Modding; looking for next ride?
Just wondered if others were done with modifications and looking to save their $$ for the next cool ride. I've been tracking the new offering for 2007, and it's looking like another wicked lineup is coming - tentatively.
I love the Evo, and have no problems. I'm pushing the 350hp mark at the crank, but close to the limits as far as bolt-on's are concerned. Rather than investing in some serious mods, sometimes I think I'd rather save that change for another new ride to play with!

Vette - (can get under invoice)
Audi S4 - (can hopefully get at or under invoice)
G35 - 300hp in 2005, then mod with 350Z parts
VW Concept R - possible 280hp 2-seater
Shelby Cobra Concept
Skyline GTR - if it ever comes.
Lotus Elise.
Most listed are 'fancier'. Looking for something still quick, but still fast and more comfortable for longer drives and conversations above 90mph (exhaust!)

I've never modded a car this much before, so it's all new to me. 1/2 the fun of the Evo was tracking it's progress to America for 2-3 years. I had a deposit down in March of 2003, so I was one of the earliest.

cars are just like computers, one day you got the newest nicest on the block, and in two years you are slow and outdated. have you seen the lineup for 05 these cars just keep getting quicker and quicker, and cooler and cooler. oh yeah, they get more and more expensive though. when i was born my parents bought their first new car. a 1981 honda accord hatchback 3 door. cost them just under 6k. good stuff.
