Highly doubtful that the dealership will care about a turbo timer. If you need to take the car in to your local dealer, call service and ask them about it. If by some chance they DO care, you can easily snip the wires temporarily and reconnect later.

turbo timer just allows the car to idle for a set amount of mins, then it shuts the car off. knowing mitsu they would find a way to say it voided your warranty. they suck as a car company in general. just buy the the car and enjoy it, if a turbo timer is all the person had on it you should be fine. in all honestly if i was you id actually buy the car new. Alot of people mod these things and tear up something, then demod it and try to get mitsu to replace it, they of course say no then the owner sales it and buys a new one.

It all depends on your dealer's judgement. Some dealers are cool about mods and MOST are sh*t heads.

mods that wont void your warrentee (according to my local mitsu service dept)

Exhaust (as long as you keep the stock cat)
air filter (drop in only)
turbo timer
wheels/tires
stereo system
Alarm

All other mods will void one or more parts of your warrentee (per service department)

mine should still be in effect cept for all the parts they dont' cover (brake pads tires tuneups oil changes air filter and other normal maintenence oh and CLUTCHES which they originally said they did cover ugh stupid mitsu)

unless somewhoe my stereo messed up the electical system and effected the chip which voids my whole powertrain warrentee.. lol I wouldn't put it past mitsu to do that either
can you tell I'm a satisfied customer?

nope that would be what insurance is for. If someone did it while you were parked; be sure to file a police report.

The Turbo Timer Will Not Void Your Warranty Unless It Is Not Properly Installed......any Dealer Will Tell You That

I would call the dealership with the vin and check the status of the car before buying. The warrantee may already be void...
