cKy's 96 Quite Bitter Beings seems to do the job nicely. (Not punk or real heavy, but damn good)
Agreed on first "paragraph."
Good Song from CKY - I prefer Escape from Hellview.

Wouldnt say sick, just a good song from a good band. Id have said Angry Again on that one. or like blood of hereos, elysian fields, thought i knew it all...etc etc train of consequences, but yea.

I think he meant what song do you find as the appropriate "Theme" for your car when driving..

Ever go for a drive, and have a good CD playing, or something else, and it just strikes you "This could be a scene from a movie" Its that kinda thing..
"Make your time!!" That was an awesome game with quite possibly the worst translation ever. Anyway back on topic...I downloaded the initial d soundtracks. Some songs are really cheesy but there is no question that they get me amped for driving.

How about

"Move B_itch, get out the way" Ludacris

I yell it when I'm driving anyway, might as well play it.

There is a ton of great rap/r&b driving music. My favs:
Bone Thugs: Art of War cds or Krayzie Bone's 1st solo cd
DMX: Music from Jet Li movie "Cradle 2 the Grave"
Aaliyah: Great cruising music
Christina Aguilera: Latest album (best driver: Dirrty)
Black Eyed Peas
Etc...etc...etc...

Lately, I've been on a rock kick:
Stabbing Westward: mostly albums 2 & 3
Disturbed: Anything
Metallica: Anything up to Black album (the newest has some good energy...)
Depeche Mode: Not rock, but awesome music. Remixes are best for driving
Korn: Anything and everything
Anything with authentic Flamenco Guitar
After seeing Shadows Fall live, I like them a lot...

There's so much good music out there...
