yea fiberglass is light but it'll most likely crack over the years... maybe they can get some made of urethane or somethin stronger... are those widebody fenders the same as the ones that Vivid sells made by Garage (if i remember correctly?)

the fender add-ons are from Garage HRS/Cyber EVO and I do believe Vivid does sell them...if I'm not mistaken didn't they build or redo their evo to look like the Cyber Evo?

Fiberglass is always going to be fragile, eventually it will crack if mistreated plus you have to bondo them onto the car to get that factory look or do what most race cars would do...rivet them on that way you wont have to worry about the bondo cracking as for the fiberglass EXPECT it if you plan to be driving hard with the car bodykits and cf etc. if you get them for the looks you better make sure you drive really carefully [thats why most bodykits sites/stores say FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY] or else you'll end up scratching, denting, chipping and snagging on all sorts of road hazards with your precious bodykits....thats why people call them TRAILER QUEENS its too much of a hassle to drive the cars and too much of a risk to drive them to a show and ending up destroying the car from just driving the car.

it looks great but it is a show car... not really worth it in a daily driver

just a reminder this thread was made about 2 years ago.

The APR Widebody is not a show car...although it does more shows than race but it has been tuned for autocross and has competed in American Touge 2 to name one of its many popularly known races.

the APR kit is currently available through APR themselves but during its debut in 04 the kit was only a special order kit through other shops ie: Vivid. The demand/response to the kit was so big APR decided to offer the kit themselves.
