Was checking out my friend's new MR last night. I actually like the new shift knob and I seem to recall someone saying it was available for previous model years, but with the 5-speed sticker. I did 4 seperate searches and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any info on this?

I personally have not seen the MR shift knob on a previous model year. The 03 had an option between a polish metal or leather.

 

yeh, but it doesn't have the 6 speed reverse pulley. If you take that out, I think it'll look fairely sharp.

 

I looked at the knob from the WORKS MR and found that the little cap that sits on top is the same size as the cap that comes with the optional metal knob from Mitsu. So, they are interchangeable, but I'm not sure that you could order the cap separately.
