Looks like they made some standard "OPTIONS" such as the RS Package and MR Package truely options instead of standard.

It is not a price reduction, it is an increase. Those prices are increased from what they were.

Not sure about the Rs and GSR but the MSRP on the MR the last time I checked was $34,999 on the link there showing a price of $34,699. A total savings of a whooping $300.00!!!!!

You guys are forgetting the mandatory MR package and the RS package that is NOT added to those prices.

You cannot get an MR or an RS without their respective packages.

This is a price INCREASE, not a reduction.

Yea I know the MR package is $800.00 I actually bought my MR at $34,999 so for me it changes nothing for me, I think the price difference would go in effect for the cars coming off the factory line. Not the ones at the dealers already.

True you can't get them now without those packages, but that link has them as OPT making it seem as if you CAN get them without. Regardless, it is still a price increase because if you do add the package the price is more than it used to be for the cars. Nice Mitsu...

is probably doing well, with the Evo, for a price increase to happen.

The dollar keeps falling against the yen so they are probably just trying to make up their loss due to currency exchange fluctuation.

yes, fireball is correct, it is a .9% increase. Got the email yesterday or the day before on it. All of mitsus cars are going up. I think the regular lancer got the biggest of about 1.7 percent. Now, in terms of total dollars it might not be though...percentage wise...yes.
