i dont want one i like the idea of the hard work the money and stuff it takes to make a car fast and handle great and look nice its more fun then buying a car that has that alrdy i mean comeone which would you enjoy the modle car that was alrdy built for $20 thats great and all or the car that needs 2 be painted glued etc for $15 and have the satisfaction of saying i made it do that or i did that

Already got a 25% down payment saved up, but I'm not gonna pay way over MSRP either. Also, if initial specs aren't to my liking, I may wait a little longer to see if any other options become available. Guess we'll know soon enough!

really, so your planning to spend about another 20k or more on that Lancer to make it *close* to an EVO (which still won't handle like one)? Wow, you spent more money than was necessary.

Sure, I also wanna have the joy of tuning up a car. You realize that you can still modify the EVO right?

Will you wait for the hype (and price markups) to die down?
1) I'm on a wait list. #1 in my area.
2) Yes, by the idea that I'm #1 on my list.
3) If I guess right, the hype won't die for a long time.

I will buy one next year but I don't know when. I am not in that big of a hurry cause the lease on my Outback runs out in September. But I will probably get my evo sometime in the summer I would think. It all depends on what the dealership gets that I have a deposit at I guess.
