I blew my transfer Case last week and took it to the dealer. The service dept ordered a new one last week. They called today and said they were on backorder and was not sure when they would be in

Anyone else have this problem?

 

Maybe that should be a sign to Mitsu that they are pieces of crap.

what price do you guys pay for transfer cases up there....?
I have one to sell(used though;but working fine)....I'm from trinidad though..

 

Nothing, if it's covered under warranty. Lancershop has them for $2349

I don't think yours will fit on a US Spec EVO

 

I think at this point I wouldn't mess with warranty and send the TC to Team Rip or somewhere to get worked on.

 

I can check when I get to work 2morrow and see what the status is.

Go to Mitsuparts.com, and call their telephone number because they sell the Evo's OEM Transfer Case under dealer cost for the grand total of $1,713.28

It'll cost about 80 bucks to ship and will arrive in 5-7 days. Best deal out there if you're thinking it will happen again.

While you're at it, check with Shephard Racing and see if they're getting any replacement components anytime soon so they can fix and beef up your old TC.

 

I am getting mine replaced under warranty....

I do wish someone would come out with some parts that beef up the stock TC.

MR980934 is the part number....and it is not on backorder.....they are in our facing PDC(warehouse) and the non-facing pdc's both. Either they just came off backorder or they are bullcrappin ya. There are some in the US
