It just sticks on with adhesive, no tools needed.

Becareful when removing teh weatherstripping from the body. I broke a clip cause i didnt have the proper tool and used my hands. Also make sure the VG lines up with groove btween the rear wind shied and the roof. Triple check the alighmnet before peeling off the adhesive. Press firmly. If you installing it cold weather, use a hair dryer to heat the adhesive, as instructed.

Does the VG go over the stock antennae stub (the part that is stuck to the roof, not the unscrewable part)?

Sorry to hijack.

Get help and install it with another person on 1 side car and you on the other. Once the tape sticks it is not moving.

evojimbo said it all.

the VG can be installed flush with the roof or flush to the rear window. the MR that i looked at had the VG installed flush with the rear window. i installed mine halfway in the groove between the roof and the rear window just to be moderate. somebody on here said that if you install it incorrectly you can create drag. If you don't have the instructions get them, it shows how to install it and pull the tape strip off while in position.

A vortex is very unstable, so make sure you do it right the first time or it won't work, or the effect won't be that great. If you're installing it for style, then hack away!

Does anyone have a part number for the white clips on the roof? Mitsu's database did not show one...

I think it's too cold to properly put it on. Even a hairdryer may not be enough. The instructions many say the proper air temp to put it on like other items that use double sided tape.

Say you heat up the tape and roof of the car, stick it on, and then after it cools down, the tape releases. 30 degrees is too cold IMO.
