So at the local racetrack anyone that runs sub 14 second passes needs to wear a helmet snell 90 approved or better. Does anyone know of a good place to get a helmet that isn't $400?

I got a G force Racing GF650 at a local speed shop for $110, it is Snell M2000. I have seen them online for about the same price. Or you could move up to the GF750 which has a SA2000 rating for $150.

I can get you a website if you need one or just go to the G force website and it lists their retailers.

i would suggest that you get a SA2000 approved one. Reason being that if you decide to track the car (road course) some of them require SA2000 approved not just DOT

 

try ebay, under simpson, I see them for 2 bills
