All 2005 Evo's use the same blow off valve. It is not specific to the "MR Edition."

Why MR BOV has a stiffer/hard spring than the stock EVO 7/8 bov?
Is the turbochager, wastegate, ecu, turbo pressure different?

I already ordered mine, it will be in my hands in 15days more or less. I'm a little worried because I read some evo owners having near stalls with the MR valve. Anyway I will try.

BTW, I recommend using high quality clamps on the BOV. Like T-bolt and constant torque clamps.

i had this problem with the car. It could have also been the rubber on my intake was off the clamp. I got the car tuned, fixed the rubber and clamp. Events that would stall the car in the past havaent. The car does dip to 700 rpm's here and there, but thats no big deal.

'05's are all plastic. I have an MR valve with no issues at all.

i have the same issues, it dips from time to time

no engine is the same so people should really stop assuming that everything will work the same with every part.
