Globe: Bah! Im going to LA on tuesday, hopefully around 3pm. I might be able to truck down to Cypress then. I have a Mini DV camcorder that doubles as a Digi cam with a 200x digital zoom, plus my truck is pretty quiet. Give me an address!

It's on Katella between Valley View and Knott.

Whichever way you come from, turn onto Holder. There's no entrance on Katella. Only on holder. (yellow dot is the entrance to the parking lot. No booths, no securities. Just alot of Lancers.)

 

I know you are doing your best... but realize that a good shot of the Evo VIII sitting in MMSA headquarters would be worth alot of money to the magazines.

If you went there and took a chance, stood on top of your car and got a solid pic, and drove away without having your camera confiscated you could make a couple thousand bucks selling the image.

Do it for the fans... and do it for the money. Go up to that garage and take a picture.

 

Well, yeah...but if he finds an Evo sitting outside like the Endeavor I know he'd take a picture. I doubt running into a crowded garage full of Mitsubishi employees and security is a good idea. But if the spirit moves you, we'll take up a collection for your bail. An ubostructed picture of either vehicle is going to make you some cash.

Play stupid man. Go with a different car, pull up to the garage, and get out of the car and politely ask someone for directions to some place in town. While doing that have your buddy snap some photos of the garage from inside the car. Thats the way I would try doing it. Just my opinion though. Either way, great pics, nice job.

 

If i lived in Ca, I would lend you my spy cam that goes on your waste(like a fanny pack). Illegal, but thats what happens when you have cops in your family that get you out of trouble!!

Just go down to Enterprise and rent a Lancer or a Galant and just dress up in a nice suit and walk around like you own the damn place. Nobody will even notice you.

Tell them you're from lancerforums/evolutionm.net an enthusiast for mitsubishi lancers and evolution and will need a spy shoot of the cars. that is after you are caught!

 

is it just me or does that car (behind the suv. it's jacked up in the garage) look like an evo from the rear.
