This look is starting to grow on me. Still might have to replace the front bumper, but that can wait. I just hope doesnt water down the car too much for the US, seeing as how we like crappy cars and all (sic). But i'm thinking black or silver....
Only 24 more days left!

That is not official is it? It's hard to believe in something you don't really want to. After sitting and staring at the snow gravel and snow on the guage cluster it'll really be off without it. Anyways thanks for the link.

you guys should take a closer look at the wheels on the car in that video.... they are the Evo VII rims, which leads me to believe that the car in that video is just an Evo VII with the Evo VIII's front bumper, sorry to burst anyones bubble

I do not believe they are. When the wheels from the 8 are moving, they blur a lot which make them look like the 7 rims. I'll pick apart that video later today and take a peek. However, the old side shot of the Evo 8 at Nurburgring that Evo Italia had showed 6 spoke wheels, not the OZ racing wheels.

Hello all, this is my first post here and I must say all this new info is very exciting. I called my local dealer and am now on the waiting list as #5. He mentioned that they will be receiving 10-20 EVO VIII early next year. I did ask him specifically if ACD was going to be offered as an option. He checked and responded back that it would be, however I'll take that with a grain of salt like anything else.

Later.

I sure hope he is right. I wonder when will the dealership make their orders or becomes available?

The only hope that I still have regarding the ACD is that JDM specs don't even have that as an option. It is standard on all three of them. Same goes for the helical front diff.

AYC on the other hand is an option, and I lost all of the hopes that we will have it in the first release. Later, probably, but still depending on what Subaru is going to enable in the US STi.

I've been lurking here and there.....

I am going to wait. I really want to see if Ralliart is going to offer an Evo Extreme or RS450 package.

I like this EvoVIII alot better also. I figured it might look better in person as some cars do. We shall see though.
