Hey guys well as some of you know i got the engine done finally after the full build from the ground up. I put down 698whp on a mustang dyno only for 2 days later to get ran off the road and put into a ditch. Well after another month of not having the car i finally get it back today. I stopped by yesterday and took a quick picture of how it looks. They replaced the Radiator (PWR) Intercooler (BR) Oil Cooler (Cusco) Hood (Kaminari). I had the hood painted from the body lines out to blend the hood into the car more. Im still dont know about the hood though. I think it might just take some getting used to but the 2 front vents im not too sure about (reminds me of a grand am or somthing). Well let me know what you guys think. The car is still dirty and there are minor things missing (emblems) but that will all be done today.

yeah, I really like your idea of painting the edges of the hood to match the fenders. When ever I get a CF hood I'm gonna do the same... I think it makes the car look better.


ps. great numbers. I'm glad to hear your car is runing. so what's it like to have that kinda power. are you gonna be able to make any pass at the drag strip anytime soon. good luck.

I like it, it's different than most hoods.

 

Thanx guys. The qaulity of the hood is unmatched. It is a build by order item (no mold) which is what i wanted becouse of all the fitment problems i have seen. The weave on it is perfect and all the hinges are very strong. I love the big vent and how it looks more aggressive from the stock look but those damn front vents is what throws me. But just so you guys know you wont be saving any weight. This hood is more of a show hood then a race hood. But i was more interested in quality and fitment then i was in weight.

I like it...it looks good but I would like to see a shot from 30 ft or so....That way I can get a better idea of how the car looks as a whole.

 

hood looks good. my hood will be here on dec 1, and im doing the same to mine with the exception of one thing (can't tell yet).

Ya we will have to get together sometime. I seen you a couple weeks ago driving towards HAPO but i was in my friends HONDA so you wouldnt notice.....HAHA... But ya i get her back today and i still have to finish breaking the new engine in so i will be out for awhile. Im thinking about talking to the other guys (mark and them) with evos for all of us to get together and take a group shot or just take a cruise. Just a thought. I will PM you my number so we can get together.
