Boost controler
Actually I have seen the e-smart controller...Good piece for some, practical?Maybe...
For the average guy who just wants to control boost without spiking, not have to mess with it because of the weather, and not have to spend a couple of hundred dollars to achieve that, a good manual controller is hard to beat for under $100. But hey, what's a couple of hundred dollars if you're gonna be happy right?
Your point is well taken though
, that particular unit is used by a few people I know and they seem to be happy, so I guess that is what counts
its not inexpensive, yet it serves the same purpose.
But like I said before, that is why there are so many parts available out there, to help please everyone. The choice is ultimately up to the owner...........
Hype or Horsepower? You decide

While I do value the MBC, after using an EBC on my car. I will never go back. A MBC will only be able to bleed off 3-4 psi before it lets boost reach the wastegate. Grant it will allow you to up the boost, but with an E-Boost... you can select when boost will reach the wastegate and you will have more mid-range. I'm telling you, your car will feel a lot more powerful using the gate pressure settings.
