TOKYO November 26, 2004; Japan Today reported that Mitsubishi Motors Corp acknowledged Thursday that it is in negotiations to form a business alliance with PSA Peugeot Citroen of France.

But the automaker said nothing concrete has been decided yet, adding it is not discussing Peugeot's possible capital participation in it. (Kyodo News)

RUMORS: PSA withdrew from the WRC, they were said to have been in talks with Mitsubishi before for distribution in the US, and they have no AWD/4WD platforms.................
