clutch pricing
i was told last time i was there, it is listed as a 8 hour job, to instal at the dealer. depending on what they charge per hour. the mechanic that was putting one on the car said he was trying to do it in 6.5 hours. i think they said it was costing the guy near $1200. i am sure that it verys from place to place though.
$80 an hour, book rate the clutch change at 15 hours, some at 20 hours, but if you get a good mechanic, 6 hours to 7 hours max (this is including mechs hour lunch).
$560 for labour, fluids included, and clutch assembly is about $250 to $350... depends on if you're getting the flywheel or grinding them ($50).
It shouldn't be anymore than $900 including tax.
then again, you get a sucky *** dealership and their mech has no idea what he's doing, then you're looking at about $1200 +
