Meet with Evolution Imports this Sunday!
Blackevolncr, the Porsche u were talking about was in CSM (California Street Mod), as opposed to SCCA Street Mod (SM).
The 2nd place in SM was my good friend Chris Teague in his E36 M3 (quite modified, and on R tires), followed by Jason Swindle in his Camaro (also heavily modded, on R tires).

While I didn't get to meet Karl, I did talk to Erik for a while and had Adam give me a test ride in the black Evo 7. Nice, although he didn't get to open it up all the way. Comparable acceleration to a new 911 turbo (for those who want a benchmark), maybe a LITTLE less. But that's just seat of the pants.
Had a chance to sit in those damn seats. Now, I'm not a big guy at all (5'10" 170) and my *** was tight in there. It was a good tight, but the minute I sat in the passenger seat, I knew that most Americans would ***** about not enough room for their posterior (we're talking the kind of people who aren't on this sight).
All in all, it made me seriously consider getting an Evo from EI. I will wait until the Evo gets here to make a final decision, but those Evo's are certainly nice, and definitely unique.

Good drive!

Where can I see (online) the results of the autox?
Here are a couple of pics from yesterday that I took. I also have some questions on the legality of the Evo VII here in California. I want to talk off line so here is my # 661-259-4464 (JEFF OR ROBIN). I have a 1998 Land Rover Discovery that I'm going to sell and so far it looks like we are going to get an Evo VII from Adam.
JT-KGY, you will be able to see the results once they are posted, at http://www.solo2.com/ and clicking on "results" on the left.
It will be the "15 December 2002" event. It usually takes a week or 2 for them to post the results, so be patient.
