Arrow Lighter wheels

What are the benefits of running with lighter wheels or lighter disk brake rotors?

Less unsprung weight. I can't remember the exact formula but every pound of unsprung weight you reduce is equal to removing 5-7 (IIRC) pounds of regular weight.

What means less rotational mass? I know that less weight is better, but where?

I guess more power and higher curve velocity...

Less weight than your motor and transmission has to turn. Just like a light weight flywheel or pulley kits. The less weight the motor has to turn the better. And in turn the motor does turn the wheels.

you don't want lighter rotors, heavier rotors = better heat distribution and cools off faster (got it off the speed channel). Lighter rims = faster accleration
