It's kinda sad that Mitsubishi is trying to tame or calm down their Evo's. I saw a VI in England once, and oh my god! Even parked that car looked like it was going to eat me! Then they came out with the VII, and everybody was upset that it was so much more subdued. But compared with the VIII, the VII was a beast! Don't get me wrong, the looks of the VIII are growing on me, and it is a handsome car, but it just lacks the ferocity of the previous Evos.

My idea of the VIII should have looked? Bring back the Evo VI, but put some spikes running across the length of the car! Make it look even more Mad Max-ish!!! Scare the living crap out of Camaro and Mustang drivers!

To me the VIII has better looking wheels, front end. The VIII looks better thought out with cleaner lines than the VII. It actually makes the VII look dated. Of course that is MY opinion so it really doesn't matter

I think the rear bumper is quite big for that car because of US crash regulations. Looks ugly from the side view, im sure the jap spec should look much better due to a smaller bumper.

 

I don't know, I'm not a fan of big wings on riced-out Hondas, but on the Evo, it doesn't look out of place to me.
I mean, the wing is actually *functional* on a EVO, it's part of the cars character, and it stops it from looking like a econobox Lancer.

Even though I like sleepers, I would feel like I was molesting the Evo, if I removed it's spoiler.
