Probably do some research in the archives. And buy Hooked on Phonics!

the fundamentals of modding are ALWAYS intake, exhaust, and ecu; everything's pretty much built around them, especially ECU...after that it's really up to you...

Mods are up to you do you want performance or looks.. If your thinking perfomace one thing I wounldnt waste money on now is intake.. The stock intake system is wicked awsome as it is and there are much better mods to spend money on.. As of now I have an exhaust and piggy back.. The car responds extremely well to a new exhaust. So that would be one great mod to start with. The consider a piggy to tune it up a little better (I went with Vishnu for my mods thus far and I cant complain one bit.)

Well I hope that is a good starting point.

So that you dont get overwhelmed if I could do one first mod I guess I would get and exhaust being it is the single one most restrictive item on the car. Search the forums for lots of information on the exhaust.. My personal recomindation (which suits me fine is downpipe and cat delete or high flow cat from works, and then a cat back of your choice.) Also note if your an 05 owner then works is one of the few companys that has a downpipe for 05's

i agree - it's simple and helpful.

another very simple and very very helpful 'mod' is a turbo timer. it's so nice not having to sit in your car for a minute everytime you get somewhere to let your turbo spool down.

congrats on the new evo!
