It might be an issue depending on what you wear though... The other night I had afriend sittin in the backseat by himself (behind drivers seat) and I made a sharp turn (but not too fast) and he slid right onto the other side of the car and bonked his head on the window lol.. He was wearing some kind of slippery material though..
Nah... I do that to people when they first get into the car...its like a first time in an evo de-virginizing event... hehehe...the screaming is the best part.

I have to admit, the available leather option has helped a bit with the decision of getting the Evo over the STI. I was flip flopping for a while between the two (like trying to decide between the ZX10 or the R1).

As for the grip, IMO, the fabric hugs better while canyon carving/spirited driving. Look & feel wise, I prefer leather over fabric.

It's funny that you should mentioned "threw up". My sister in-law, for some reason, is alergic to leather (not the feel, but the smell). She gets nauseous everytime she smells leather.

She stays away my Evo and that's a good thing.

One thing about leather...you can wipe it clean after stretching out a member of the opposite sex in the back seat whereas the cloth tends to stain or require some brushwork (to be politically correct the same would apply to polesmoking/fudgepacking EvoM members as well).

Damn it! Stupid 03s with no leather option! I wouldnt care as much if the cloth seats didnt have the ugly blue center. Also I bet those will last longer than the cloth 1s cause my seats already show some wear at certain spots and I barely drive my Evo

Keep your eye out for a set for sale, I've seen a few already for reasonable $$$$

yeah... i love my leather too... it never gets rediculously hot, looks and smells great, and still holds you in place like two-way tape...

best part though, is the door panels... they look a million times better than with that blue cloth... (unless you got a BBY, then it looks neat)...

The thing about the leather is that it pushes the price right up around the MR...that would make for a tough decision I would think. I'd prefer an MR and then source the leather later.
