Car Vibrations

Before the flaming begins, I want to say that I have searched and searched and could not find anything that I am looking for.

My question is, does the car really vibrates more at idle when it is cold out (I am in Chicago)?

What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

Sometimes.. I have aftermarket plugs in the car that are one step colder, the are prone to misfiring at idle, especially when the engine is cold and its cold out.. most of the time new properly gapped plugs will let the engine run really smoothly.. occasionally the ECU has to adjust its fuel trims and it may idle rough for a run or two..

yep... it idles kinda wierd... it was 10degrees out yesterday, and it idled smooth as sandpaper till it warmed up (which took forever, and these things usually heat up fast).....

how high are your rpm's at idle?

my evo has regularly been idling at 1500-2000 at idle when its first cold.. then it'll calm down to 1000-1500. but it stinkin idles at 2000 for a while...
