yeah, learn to live with it. that is if it only makes the noise before they heat up. high performance brake pads have actual metal inbedded in the pad. this metal grips better, hence the better braking ability. the downside is that lovely squeel till they heat up. you should take a GT or GT1 race car around the block! HOLY CRAP BATMAN! your ears bleed for the first 10 seconds!
if they dont shut up after you brake once or twice, you may need them looked at. but if they do quiet down, thats normal!
