Today i noticed that my instrument lights for the ACD mode settings lights up the green light next to the mode I am in as usual, but after I start driving for a bit all three lights come on and stay on. WTF? Anybody have this problem on their MR's or anybody with the 05 models? I jus want to get some input before i take it to dealer.

ok here we go, since I have the ACD for over a year now, I can tell.
when all lights comes on, it means that there is a malfuntion on the system and you need to reset it, if you shut the engine and restart, it should be enough, also that does not means that the diff will not work, but if all lights again comes on then you need to take the car to the dealer to install the Mut2 and pull the codes.

 

it's in the manual, that indicates a problem. Promptly return the car to the dealer for service. Good luck!

oh great... i didn't even want the ACD, just the LSD.. hope this doesn't start happening on a larger scale.

 

don't panic man, could be as simple as a weird anomoly.

 

Weird anomaly's aren't always simple. Crank walk is a weird anomaly...

 

One occurance discrepancy does not an epidemic make.
