Evo or WRX

Im not really familiar with either car to much although i have been very happy with my bmw . But the two cars im looking at are the Evo MR Edition and Impreza Sti both new. I just wanted to know what you guys recommend, and it might seem funny asking on an evolution forum but its a place to start.

Sport compact car just this month - i got the mag in the mail yesterday - covers that question. they say if you want tire ripping torque go with the STI. if you want nimble good handling the go with the EVO MR.

i have tire ripping, asphalt shredding torque, but the car has understeer - as does the STI - and i hate understeer. if i were to do it again, the MR would be my new ride!!!

I LOVE THE EVO MR.

Hands down...The Evo MR. If you want a nice car out of the box, both are OK. However, if you want to modify...and you will, you are better off going with the Evo. My brother had an STI, and after making some small upgrades, he began to experience some problems. The 4G63 engine in the Evo is capable of handling over 600 hp. Besides, the Evo is better looking! The new MR is also starting to sport some of the driver control features the VIII was lacking. After having an STI and Evo in my family, the Evo was deserving of far more respect. I know because I've been there. You won't go wrong.

Get the EVO MR, It is by far the best handling car I've ever driven. Fun to daily drive and that 2.0 that resides under the hood is more then enough to cut through traffic. All in all, the EVO MR is an outstanding car!

check the fourms, this question has been asked many many times, and if u ask on a evo fourms of course there going to be bias just like the STi site will be. Do ur own reasearch from sites that are not bias and pick the car that is right for u.

My MR off the lot dynos at the same if not just a hair more than the sti's plus it will pull on one from a roll, never got to race from a dig while my MR was stock. I have dyno sheets if you wanna see the proof of hp claim.

cheers
