Got my allocations - anyone want to trade? - UPDATED
After work, went down to meet with my contacts at the dealership.
Two allocations. One silver, one blue. Both with high spoilers. Both with sunroofs.
They already knew my preferences, so when allocations came out they put a call into their rep at
to see if they can (1) remove the sunroof and/or (2) change the color.
I'm looking for a no sunroof car. That's the most important thing to me. The color is secondary, but my strong preference would be yellow. Next preferences would be blue then silver.
So.... my dealer said they'd have an answer by this afternoon about making modifications to the order. They say the cars are not built yet, so they'd be suprised if they couldn't make a change.
If they can't make a change... anyone have a yellow, blue or silver allocation without a sunroof that wants to trade for a silver or blue with a roof?
My dealer is onboard with the trade idea... we might be able to swap the allocations officially thru , and if not we can always do a "dealer trade" once the cars arrive.
Let me know... follow up post, email, PM, whatever. I'll let everyone know what my dealer says about making the change....

No changes possible according to

However, my dealer is attempting to locate a dealer-trade and they think that they'll be successful at doing so.
Still... my offer is out there... anyone who was allocated a yellow/blue/silver without a sunroof (in the first order for delivery in February) who wants a blue or silver Evo with a sunroof, my trade offer is open.
