woops, i shoulda selected 1 week then =) i wanted this to be a performance modification thread, but oh well. i tinted my windows the first day, put a grounding kit, pedals, and kick plates a week later, then a system about 4 months after that... still haven't gotten around to the performance section because of the theme song to the apprentice.

I started modifying the car about a week after I got it.. Installed a boost gauge and some other simple things.. Broke the car in in a weekend, and added a buschur exhaust about a month or so later (after getting out to the track once and getting a baseline of 3 runs)

I honestly wish I had gone that route..

My car runs like stock, and doesnt have any problems.. But all things considered, I'd have preferred to not get bitten by the bug and saved my money.

lol well evo number one waited a good year to make sure nothing went wrong with her and lucky for me I waited because the tranny died b4 she saw any "real" action. Now Evo 1 is running better than ever and is in great hands with my dad. As for my "new" baby Evo 2 I went to the dealership witha stubby antena and eclipse head unit.. The antena went on as soon as I signed last papers, so I guess first "mod" was within the first min of owning her. The eclipse headunit went in that evening.

Well I take other things into consideration. Since I am a long range commuter reliability is more paramount than overall speed and performance.(Not my much though ) There is also, warranty, payments etc.

Believe me this car will NOT REMAIN STOCK! After Tokyo Auto Salon, the first will be an Exhaust system after my 30k check. The mods will be more a light tune with 350bhp as my goal.

I got my MR in the middle of October. I started Modifying it the day I bought it. My excuse was I had a 2003 EvoVIII and was transfering all of the stuff I had from my 2003 to my 2005.

And here it is December and I still can't stop modifying it .

Its a serious disease that my brother and I share We can't have a stock car.

Derek
