Is there anyone who buys damaged transfer cases?

I bought a new transfer case and have my damaged transfer case (dealer wouldn't cover it). Anyone know of anyone who buys them damaged. If so, how much are they worth damaged?

I am sure it can be rebuilt. I would have to talk to the dealer to find out exactly whats wrong with it

You probably won't get a whole lot for it, but it might be useful to some of the DSM guys that rebuild/strengthen DSM transmissions and drivelines for race applications. If nothing else, they might cut you a deal on the install in trade for your TC.
