Two days ago when I pulled up into a driveway I heard a noise coming from the left front, it sounded almost like the suspension was buttoming out ( I was going very slow). Then while going down the road at a steady speed (about 55) something sounded almost like a belt squealling. It lasted maybe 20 seconds then went away (I haven't heard it since). Then this morning when I left the house it made a sound which sounded like a left front brake dragging, which lasted about 20-30 seconds and went away. I stopped in at mechanic I know and trust (the dealer is a hour drive away) he couldn't find anything wrong. Anyone had anything like this happen?

03 VIII, 4000 miles, stock, the first time about 50 deg, the second time about 30 deg.
